EcoSciTec Innovations

TIMELINE

EcoSciTec Innovations Pty Ltd was incorporated in August 2023, building on a rich history of innovation and expertise within the construction materials industry. Our journey began with Duncan Hywel-Evans (C.Sci, MRACI, C.Chem., MRSC), a renowned cement chemist with a PhD in Calcium Sulphoaluminate Cement (CSA) completed in 1996. Duncan joined Lyndons in 2021 as Head of Innovation and Chief Chemist, bringing new and exciting methodologies around low carbon building products like sand and cement. With an incredible background in Science and Technology, along with Research and Development, Duncan is also a recipient of the “UQ Dean's award for outstanding research” and has many other accolades from the Royal Society of Chemistry, Royal Australian Chemical Institute, and the British Science Council. He is a serial inventor of technology and has been quietly working on the next generation of hydration products for over 25 years.

The innovative journey continued as Lyndons IP Pty Ltd was incorporated as the research and development arm of Lyndons, securing its first patent for a High-Performance Hydration Binder methodology. In a strategic move to commercialise this groundbreaking technology, the company was renamed EcoSciTec Innovations Pty Ltd.

To further strengthen the team, the directors sought the expertise of Daniel Schoenwald, an experienced Sales and Operations executive, who joined as Head of Sales, Operations, and Strategic Planning. Daniel has over two decades of experience in senior and executive roles, with a strong background in manufacturing, concrete products, wholesale distribution, sales and operations, marketing, and new product development and go-to-market strategies.

In July 2024, EcoSciTec launched its website and began its first customer interactions, marking the beginning of a new era in sustainable construction materials.
